The City’s Engineering Services Department provides various parking management services and permits for residents and visitors who seek to utilize City parking facilities or on-street parking on a daily or monthly basis.
Locations
Rancho Cucamonga operates and maintains two paid parking locations in the City:
- Metrolink Cucamonga Station - 11208 Azusa Ct – Daily Permit $4.50/monthly options available
- Cucamonga Canyon – limited parking on Almond Street - $20 daily

How do I cancel, suspend, or reactive my monthly permit?
Email customerservice@permit-sales.com or call (909) 303-6030 suspend or reactivate your parking permit orby the 15th of the month to cancel.
When is parking enforced?
Metrolink Cucamonga Station: Parking is enforced Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Weekends and holidays are free.
Cucamonga Canyon: Parking is enforced by the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department on an ongoing basis.
Can I park overnight?
Metrolink Cucamonga Station Parking:Yes, however a parking permit is required for both days. Parking is at your own risk.
Cucamonga Canyon: No.
Does the Metrolink Cucamonga Station have a security guard?
Yes, security is on-site Sunday 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.,Monday through Friday 4:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Can I charge my electric vehicle?
No, at this time, the Metrolink Cucamonga Station does not offer EV Charging.

The City has nine (9) Residential Parking Permit Districts governed by Section 10.50, “Permit Parking Districts” of the City of Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Code and allows residents of a Permit Parking District special permits that exempt them and their guests from certain on-street parking restrictions.

Parking citations are issued by Deputies, Police Officers, Sheriff Service Specialists, Reserve Deputies, Park Rangers, Citizen Volunteers, and School Security personnel (on school grounds). The Rancho Cucamonga Police Department manages all issues associated with parking citations in the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
The Rancho Cucamonga Police Department enforces California Vehicle Codes, Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Codes, and Uniform Fire Codes relating to parking violations in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. To report a parking violation call our 24 hour non-emergency dispatch line at (909) 941-1488.
Getting Started
If you wish to contest a parking citation you must do so within 21 days of the date the citation was issued to you.
To pay or contest a parking citation, you may go towww.citationprocessingcenter.com,or callCitation Processing Center Customer Service at 1-800-989-2058. Parking Citations can also be paid in person at the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department at 10510 Civic Center Dr. Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730.
Vehicles that have been unregistered for over 6 months can be towed with no warning if found parked on public streets or retail parking lots.
If a vehicle has a "Planned Non-Operation" registration status with the DMV it cannot be parked on public streets and is subject to tow without warning if the last registration for operation expired more than 6 months ago.

A late feeof $42.00 is addedif the citation is not paid within 30 days. Per State Law, unpaid parking citations are attached to the Department of Motor Vehicle records for the vehicle involved. The vehicle cannot be currently registered until the citation is paid and removed.
Hardship Plan Request
If you receive public benefits or are a low-income person then you may apply for a payment plan within 60 days from the issuance of a parking citation or 10 days after an administrative hearing determination, whichever is later. The application, along with more information regarding the payment plan process, can be accessed by clicking the button belowor by calling (909) 774-2450.The application can be submitted through the website www.citationprocessingcenter.com, mailed to Citation Processing Center at P.O. Box 10479 Newport Beach, CA 92658, or submitted in-person at Rancho Cucamonga City Hall.
Parking Citation Hardship Waiver
Contest a Parking Citation
If you disagree with a parking citation you received and would like to contest it, you have 21 days from the date you were issued the citation, or 14 days from the mailing of the delinquent parking notice, to submit an Initial Administrative Review Form. You may go towww.citationprocessingcenter.comand upload documentation to support your claim, or call Citation Processing Center Customer Service at 1-800-989-2058. Please include any supporting documentation such as; photographs, photocopy of handicapped placard and DMV paperwork for that placard, etc. to support your statement.
When contesting a parking citation for failure to display a disabled placard a fee of $25.00 must accompany the Initial Administrative Review Form. This fee is for not properly displaying the placard from the rear view mirror.
When contesting a parking citation for No Plates and/or Not Displaying Current Registration the citation must be signed off, showing proof of correction, within the 21 days and a $10.00 fee for each violation is due.
If you are contesting a parking citation for any violation other than ones mentioned above there is no fee associated with the dispute process. Once we have received your Initial Administrative Review form a response will be mailed to you within 2-3 weeks advising you of the decision made regarding your citation
Administrative Hearing
If you are not satisfied with the results of the Administrative Review, you may further contest the citation by requesting an Administrative Hearing. State Law requires that you pay all fines owed on the citation in advance before you can request the Administrative Hearing. The Administrative Hearing must be requested within 15 calendar days of the Initial Administrative Review being mailed to you. If you fail to request the Administrative Hearing within 15 days you will lose the opportunity to further contest the citation.
To request an Administrative Hearing you must appear in-person at the Rancho Cucamonga Police Station during normal business hours, bring proof of payment for the citation, and a hearing will be scheduled at that time. You must appear at the date and time scheduled, if you fail to appear, you forfeit the right to an Administrative Hearing. If you are not able to attend an Administrative Hearing in-person you may submit a Written Declaration and request the Hearing Officer to render a decision based on the statement you submitted.
If the Hearing Officer rules in your favor, the City of Rancho Cucamonga will issue you a refund within 30 days for the fine amount you paid for the citation. If the Hearing Officer does not rule in your favor, the fine amount you paid will be applied as payment in full for the citation.
